Restauracja "W Starej Kuchni" znajduje się w zabytkowej kamiennicy położonej przy ul. św. Tomasza 8 (ok. 3 minut spaceru od Rynku Głównego).
Nasza restauracja to miejsce bajkowe, warte wejścia, pełne miedzianych naczyń, garnków, pod powałą słojów pełnych przysmaków z naszej spiżarni, gdzie w każdym kącie ukrywa się niewinnie cała prostota.
Jednej z sal nadaliśmy charakter starego antykwariatu i biblioteki, a niezwykle wyraziste malarstwo ścienne przedstawiające półki z książkami stwarzają w nim niepowtarzalną atmosferę.
W centrum restauracji znajduje się piec, w którym dawniej wypiekano chleby oraz przygotowywano część naszych potraw.
Na początek przywitamy was świeżym, domowym chlebem z robionym przez nas smalcem ze skwarkami i cebulką.
Odwiedzając nas posmakujecie takich pyszności jak ręcznie robione domowe pierogi, soczyste marynowane żeberka, ręcznie tarte złociste placki ziemniaczane, rumiane kotlety schabowe. Nie zabraknie również domowych ciast oraz kompotu.
